Who Am I: Hello, my name is Edwin Brown (CCS bulletin board name - mamboBROWN). I am a DBA/software engineer and web designer.  During the day I work for the Federal Government and during the evenings I am the CEO/President of my own web company. History:  This is the second version of this calendar script.  I have already used it numerous times in other projects but this version has a few features that I think you will really like. Read on... Description: This is a project calendar. It lists all projects and their specific dates. The calendar lists the projects abbreviation plus the type of calendar date (i.e. meeting, deadline, etc...). By hovering over the  project abbreviation and date type a (DHTML/Javascript)  rollover will appear with project details.  Also by clicking on the project abbreviation and date type a popup window will appear with detail information pertaining to the item selected. I have also included the administrator sections so that a user could customize the projects and date types as well as manage the calendar dates. Features: * Uses DHTML/Javascript rollover for Project Detail information * Displays current month calendar and allows for forward and backward selection of calendar months * Administration allows user to administer calendar dates, project detail and calendar date types. * Deletion - This calendar never physically deletes any data (learned this from my years as a DBA). Simply select yes for delete record and the data & all of its related data disappears. POSITIVES: 1. Calendar has DHTML/Javascript rollover with project details. 2. Calendar is done using PHP and CCS features. It should be easy to convert it to other languages. 3. Can be tied to any table or query that has a date field in it. 4. The method used to generate this calendar will allow you to use CCS features and PHP (or any language for that matter) to generate html or javascript from within the page. NOTE: The calendar script that was hacked and incorporated into CCS was obtained from a Zend Calendar tutorial-(Building Dynamic Calendars using PHP - by: Patrick Delin).  The DHTML/Javascript rollover code was obtained from DynamicDrive.com.  The script name is called TipMessage and it was enhanced by Essam Gamal (who modeled his script after the OverLib script) Thanks for the opportunity to share my idea with the community!!!
