YesSoftware Speeds the Delivery of Powerful Data-Driven Web Applications for AdobeR GoLiveR Users

CodeCharge Studio adds Extensible Code Generation Capabilities to Adobe GoLive

Software Development Conference and Expo, San Jose, Calif. - April 24, 2002 - YesSoftware today announced that its powerful tool for the rapid development of Web applications, CodeCharge Studio, now supports Adobe GoLive. CodeCharge Studio adds advanced code generation and database-connectivity to Adobe GoLive, while taking advantage of Adobe GoLive's sophisticated content authoring features. CodeCharge Studio features an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), effective drag-and-drop components and application wizards to further speed the development of dynamic database-driven applications.

CodeCharge Studio, combined with Adobe GoLive, speeds the development of Web applications and enterprise systems by allowing developers to simply specify the application's user interactions, logic and data sources through intuitive point-and-click wizards. CodeCharge Studio's code generation engine automatically generates customizable code in all popular server-side programming languages including ASP.NET/C#, ASP (VBScript), Java (JSP or Servlets) ColdFusion 4.0, PHP and Perl, and seamlessly connects to any database or multiple databases.

"YesSoftware has created a solution that lets developers rapidly create sophisticated data-driven Web applications, then modify them directly within Adobe GoLive," said George Arriola, product manger, Adobe Systems Incorporated. "The resulting applications can range from simple interactive Web sites to multi-platform, database-connected enterprise systems that extend business-critical data to a dispersed group of users."

Code generation allows developers to focus on user interaction and application logic, while
freeing them from the peculiarities of language and deployment environments. CodeCharge Studio comes with free 30-day support and includes several pre-built real-world applications that Adobe GoLive developers can use as learning tools or quickly customize and deploy - further decreasing development time.

"CodeCharge's code-generation engine adds essential functionality to Adobe GoLive that drastically simplifies and speeds the development process for professional, scaleable, interactive Web applications," said Konrad Musial, CEO of YesSoftware. "Now, by utilizing Adobe GoLive and CodeCharge Studio together, Adobe GoLive users can tackle more complex projects and program in languages that they couldn't previously."
